Roger Ceilley is a Cedar Falls, Iowa native who did his medical and dermatology training at the University of Iowa. He was a pioneer and early advocate of dermatologic surgery education and developed a Mohs training program that educated over 20 fellows in the technique.
He served as president of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Ceilley coauthored many of the first Guidelines of Care produced by the dermatology community and was a strong advocate for skin cancer prevention. Dr. Ceilley is an articulate speaker who has lectured to dermatology audiences throughout the world. In addition, he is responsible for over 100 scientific articles and publications.
